Each of the countries in the region has its own unique history, culture, and artistic traditions.

Art from Latin America is made using all media: painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, printmaking, video works, installations, conceptual practice, and performance. The wide range of geographies and styles makes contemporary art difficult to categorize.
